Professional
qualifications
Ken is a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of
Patent Agents, having trained from 1977 and passed the qualifying
examinations in 1982.
He is also a European Patent Attorney and member of the
Institute of
Professional Representatives before the
European
Patent Office, having passed the qualifying examinations in 1985.
He is a Registered Trade Mark Attorney, having qualified by
experience when the register was initially set up in 1990.
He is furthermore entered on the list of professional
representatives of OHIM
(the Community Trade Mark Office).
Ken has tutored students of the Chartered Institute in
patent drafting in the electrical and mechanical fields. In 1991, he was the
primary examiner for the electrical drafting paper in the British qualifying
examinations.
