history
Ken joined the patent and trade mark profession in 1977 and
trained under Geoff Bayliss and John Bushell at Boult Wade & Tennant in
London.
In 1982, he moved to RGC Jenkins & Co in London, working
with Keith Beresford and, in the following year, assisted in the setting up
of Beresford & Co.
In 1989, in order to work away from London and nearer to
home, he moved to the Windsor office of D Young & Co and became an equity
partner the following year. In 1993, while Chairman of the firm, he
transferred to its main office in Southampton and also moved house to
Hampshire.
In 1995, he retired from D Young & Co in order to set up his
own practice.
